Ticket Office Seller (Sales team member)
Title / Position: Ticket Office Seller
Position type: Seasonal, Full-time & Part-time; Hourly, Non-Exempt
Reports to: Sales Ops Manager & Sales Ops Supervisor
Selling lift tickets is often the first contact we have with our guests and something nearly every guest needs to do while visiting Bromley. These employees provide essential initial impressions that set the tone for the remainder of the guest’s stay with us.
Summary: Primary role is to sell lift tickets to guests while providing a positive guest experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Help guest select the right product choice for their stay
Offer other Bromley products like the Sun Mountain Card, Season Passes or Sun Mountain Specials
Inform guests of trail closings, lift delays, and hazardous conditions
Knowledgeable of all special deals and programs including coupons
Knowledgeable of all comp programs
Balance cash drawer: keep track of payments (cash, credit cards, vouchers, etc.)
Responsible for keeping the ticket office clean and organized
Function as Guest Service Relations dealing with guest complaints and issues regarding their visit to Bromley
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Competencies:
Ability to keep a balanced cash drawer
Exemplary guest service skills when interacting with internal and external guests at all times
Positive, enthusiastic, and flexible attitude
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Must have a flexible schedule
Reliable transportation in snow
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
This job operates primarily in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computer, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, mail machines, and fax machines. Occasional work outdoors (any time of year) is likely throughout the base of operations.
