Sunday Afternoon Report

With 100 Days of skiing &amp; riding under our belt, and an amazing weekend of fun thanks to 6-7" of new snow since Friday, this weekend was one for the books! Passholder Day Saturday was an absolute blast, with a true powder day (with free refills), and an awesome Après Party that filled our hearts with joy and tasty treats! With 176" of snow this season, it's been one for the books, and we have several more weeks of snowy skiing and riding ahead!

All that being said, Monday looks like a very wild &amp; windy day. Safety is always our highest priority, and so our plan is to suspend operations for Monday, 3/16, with the plan to reopen on Tuesday morning, 3/17. Our veteran mountain ops team will be out working early Tuesday morning as temperatures return to seasonable levels, with the goal to open the Lower Mountain for St. Patrick's Day skiing &amp; riding. After 100 days on snow, you probably need to rest your legs anyways :). As always, keep an eye on our website for the latest updates, and we'll be back on the snow before you know it!

Winter's Sweet Return!

With **6-7” of new snow** since Friday, Winter is officially back at the table! We picked up another 2-3” since yesterday morning’s report, and those who got to ride Saturday were treated to an endless buffet of powder turns with friends and family on an epic Passholder Day! With winter's return and several more weeks of skiing and riding, it’s a great time to join the 26/27 passholder ranks and **ski the rest of this season** for free!

34 trails are on the menu today, with 5 lifts scheduled to whisk us into the sky. Building on all this new snowfall, our veteran grooming team went out last night to whip up **corduroy** on 28 trails, spending a few extra hours kneading all the fresh snow under continuously flying flakes. **Terrain parks** on Plaza and Lower Thruway always get extra love from the craftsmen in our parks crew, and are a great place to head for jibbing, sliding, and hopping. All the delicious new snow has the mountain in great shape for this time of year, but when tasting a trail for the first time, it’s always a good idea to take a small bite first before digging in.

Today’s temps will be slightly toastier than yesterday, with temps warming into the high 20's and low-30s, and a rare southeast breeze. Snow showers persisted overnight, and they are expected to return on Tuesday with the arrival of the cold front, following a brief warmup on Monday. With winter back, and several more weeks of skiing &amp; riding, get a sample of the Sun Mountain with a Sunny Savings 3-Pack and ski 3 days at a discount anytime until the season ends! Reminder: Midweek passes are valid every day for the rest of the season!

With all the excitement yesterday, I forgot to acknowledge Pi (Pie) Day, 3.14. Forgive me for some belated π Day content today, but here are some favorite pies and the chairlifts they remind me of at Bromley. When the sun is out, my go-to lift for getting a tan is the Sun Chair, and my go-to pie is Cherry Pie, with its sweet start and tart finish. I’m not the biggest fan, but everyone else loves Apple Pie, so I’ll match the official Vermont State Pie with everyone else’s favorite lift, The Sun Mountain Express. (Btw, did you know that Apple Pie must legally be served in Vermont with a large scoop of vanilla ice cream, a glass of cold milk, or a slice of cheddar cheese weighing at least 1/2 oz?) And finally, when I’m personally feeling like I could split an entire pie with a friend, it’s always a Blueberry Pie, which I’ll gladly share with my bff on our 2-seater mid-mountain workhorse, The Alpine Chair. No matter how you’re getting up the hill at Bromley, skiing &amp; riding The Sun Mountain is not a pie-in the-sky fantasy - it’s the real deal!

Uphill Travel is open daily from dawn to dusk. Please keep your pass visible, stick to designated routes, and stay alert around all mountain operations and equipment.

Please park in the main lot through the tunnel. There is no parking in the drop-off zone.

Safety is everyone's responsibility. Please ski/ride in control and within your ability.

Lift operations are always weather dependent, your safety is always our highest priority. Keep an eye on the snow report or our socials for any changes to our daily plan.
