Big Bromley Sun Mountain!

The Big Bromley Sun is back today, shining over 100% of our terrain, which has been blanketed by more than **11 feet of snow** this season. Even more snow is on the way starting tomorrow, with the potential for 5-11” and snow continuing until Sunday, according to the National Weather Service. Who’s up for a powder weekend?!

8 Lifts will be spinning you to Sun Mountain Heaven today, with all of our 47 trails open, and 29 lined with groomer stripes. The Plaza Park is the place to be right now, with 16+ boxes, rails, and jumps. The Bonanza Park on Lower Thruway has some smaller features for the novice &amp; intermediate grommer too. Bromley has some of the most varied terrain around, whether you’re a beginner skiing in the East Meadow Basin, an intermediate cruising the scenic West Side, or an expert challenging yourself in the East Side Steeps. And if you prefer to free the heel, this weekend is the 40th annual Kåre Andersen Telemark Festival!

After this morning’s glorious sunrise, the sun will continue its climb into the sky today, with temperatures in the 20’s. Snow is scheduled to arrive tomorrow at midday, continuing through Saturday. Winds will be on the calmer side through the storm, allowing powder piles to get nice and pillowy for the weekend. It’s been an incredible Vacation “Ski Week”, beginning with FebFest on V-day, and the subsequent gorgeous days of skiing. The fun continues through Sunday, with 8 lifts spinning 8:30am - 4pm every day.

Thanks to all who came out last night for the Ninety-Pound Rucksack Challenge to celebrate the 10th Mountain Division. We were lucky to have several active duty 10th Mountain folks with us, and even got to welcome the daughter of one of the original 10th Mountain Division troops who climbed Riva Ridge in WWII! We had an incredible time sharing stories of our Mountaineering Heroes around the fire, and “Climbing to Glory” with all who were able, and hope to see you all for next year's climb!

This weekend is the **40th annual Kåre Andersen Telemark Festival**, with a who's-who list of special guests, instructors and a new dual-slalom citizen's race, plus two days of high-end equipment demos!

Speaking of demos, it's gear test season! Call your friends and carve out time for back-to-back demo weekends at Bromley. Thanks to **Telemarkdown** we’ll have sweet set-ups from Crispi, Atomic, Scarpa, Bishop, 22Designs ready to run during TeleFest Sat. 2/21 and Sun. 2/22. Then on Sat. 2/28, **Potter Brothers** is racking up 70+ alpine skis and 30 snowboards for your testing pleasure. Now’s your chance to dial in a new setup from Black Crows, Völkl, Blizzard, Stöckli, Elan, Burton, Jones Snowboards, YES., Public Snowboards, Nitro Snowboards, and more! Grab your crew, and be ready to rip.

It’s almost goggle tan season! Spring skiing will be here before we know it and with over 11 feet of snow so far this season, we’re in for a fun one! Ski for just $99/day with the Sunny Savings Lift Ticket 3-Pack. Available now, valid 3/1 through the end of the 25/26 season.

Whether you’re a first timer or a seasoned skier/snowboarder, there is always room for improvement. We have a few spots left in our **lessons** this week and now is the time to dial in that technique!

Chairlift Hours of Operation 2/14-2/22: 8:30AM-4PM

Uphill Travel is open daily from dawn to dusk. Please keep your pass visible, stick to designated routes, and stay alert around all mountain operations and equipment.

Please park in the main lot through the tunnel. There is no parking in the drop-off zone.

Safety is everyone's responsibility. Please ski/ride in control and within your ability.

Lift operations are always weather dependent, your safety is always our greatest concern. Keep an eye on the snow report or our socials for any changes to our daily plan.
