Snowmaking...the next best thing to the real stuff. Without it, Bromley just wouldn't be the same mountain we all know and love, and shred every winter. We take snowmaking very seriously, and we'd like to show you. Every season our Mountain Ops crew creates a plan to systematically cover Bromley's 150+ acres of snowmaking terrain (total skiable terrain is 178 acres) with the finest white stuff we can produce. We take this so seriously that we’ve given it a name; Bromley’s arsenal of pipe, pond and guns, as well as the crew behind it is known as SNOWMAGEDDON!
Explore the Phase Links below to find out when and what will get covered first.
Got those maps all digested? Now on to timing... we begin with Phase 1 anytime after November 1, weather permitting. Under typical early winter temps we'll have Phases 1 through 4 completed by December 25; 23 trails, all 3 terrain parks, almost 7.5 miles and over 125 acres of top to bottom skiing and riding for all abilities! That leaves only Phase 5 (the East Side) to blast through during the holiday week, with all 150 acres of snowmaking trails open by the New Year.
With all of the snowmaking efficiency upgrades in the past few seasons, weather permitting, these phases may roll out quicker than in years past. Think cold, think snow!
