Rando Race

Mar 16th

Bromley welcomes the NE Rando Race Series - a multiple-venue rando race (aka, ski mountaineering, uphill/downhill, “skimo”) - back to the Sun Mountain for their mid-March event. Rando – short for randonnée – ski racing hearkens back to skiing’s early years, when skiers challenged the mountain both up and down, without the help of chairlifts. Using climbing “skins” with alpine touring or telemark bindings (or even “split” snowboards), racers start at the base of the mountain, ascend it, then descend it, as fast as possible, over multiple laps, up to 6,000' cumulative vertical, in the truest test of the most complete skier overall.

St. Patrick’s Day Treasure Hunt & Festivities

Mar 17th

Get out on the mountain today for a chance to win a 2019/20 Full Season Pass! We heard a wee rumor that a tiny green guy is hiding his pot o'gold atop Bromley Mountain on 3/17 - with a little luck you'll find it, and make all your mountain dreams come true for next winter! (We will literally be hiding a pot of "gold" somewhere on the mountain between Runaround and Pushover. Find it, bring it to Switchboard, and the Season Pass is yours. We'll give hints on its location throughout the day on Instagram.)
