Good Morning Friends!
The Fun Day in the Parks was a success! We'd like to thank all those who competed, our sponsors and the event staff. We look forward to more park events in the future.
The rain has come and gone and lit looks like some snow too. About an inch of dense wet snow fell here at the base and a couple of inches up at the summit. It looks like another mild day in-store. Temps will be around freezing and winds will be mild to breezy. The forecast is calling for cloudy skies with snow showers in the evening we could see another few inches by tomorrow morning. Temps will be in the mid-30s at the base and low 30s at the summit. Winds will be coming out of the West at 12-18mph near the base and 15-30mph near the summit. Humidity will remain fairly high so the summit may remain foggy for the day.
Mountain Ops were on the mountain last night grooming only 4 trails but are out this morning finishing the rest of the mountain. All groom able trails on the Westside will be groomed by open and a few trails on the Eastside of the mountain. We will open this morning with 36 trails and 9 lifts. The lifts will spin from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.The BOC will continue the USASA Collegiate Race today on East Meadow and Race training will take place this morning on Havoc.
