Passholder Powder Day!

We picked up 4”+ of fluffy **snow** last night, and it’s still snowing!! I guess those two Friday the 13ths in a row must have been good luck, because we could see another 2-4” above mid-mountain before the storm moves out this afternoon! It’s the perfect setup for Passholder Appreciation Day today, with early lift access for passholders and a free Après party this evening! Become a 26/27 passholder now and join the **powder party** for the **rest of the 25/26 season for free**!

We’re skiing &amp; riding on 34 trails today, with 5 lifts scheduled to spin. Groomers were out last night on 28 trails to lay down fresh corduroy and help move snow around. Plaza and Lower Thruway also got extra love from the groomer yesterday, and will reopen this morning for all-day park laps on jumps, boxes, and rails! Much of the new snow has fallen on top of the groomers’ efforts, so I would expect quite a few powder turns wherever you go this morning. And while the new snow is super welcome, spring conditions are still lingering underneath and throughout the mountain with firm spots, a few slick spots, and the occasional missing link. Wherever you ski &amp; ride today, please be aware that natural obstacles are prevalent, even on snowmaking trails, so start small before going big (which you should always do!)

**Passholder Appreciation Day** is today, and we are so thankful to have so many amazing passholders in our Sun Mountain family! First chair for passholders is at 7:30 (one hour earlier than our usual opening bell), and should allow for some nice soft early-ups on the new snow. Our Après Party (exclusively for passholders) is from 5-7pm on the 2nd floor of the lodge, with live music in the Wild Boar by the Lustre Kings. Bring your appetites, and bring your Bromley pass to receive a commemorative 25/26 Season Passholder beverage glass. Please note that a passholder must be present to receive their glass, and only the first 200 in attendance will receive a glass.

We’re back to Winter today, with temps in the mid-20s and low-30s, with a decent westerly breeze. Snow will taper off early this afternoon, and the weather tomorrow remains wintry, with an even stronger cold front next week. With winter back, and several more weeks of skiing &amp; riding, snag a Sunny Savings 3-Packs and ski 3 days at a discount anytime until the season ends.

Today, we take a moment to celebrate the life of snowboard pioneer Jake Burton Carpenter on this, A Day for Jake. Jake skied for the first time in 1961 right here at **The Sun Mountain**, where he first got hooked on sliding on snow. He and his boarding buddies would also sneak up to ride down the slopes adjacent to Bromley Village in his youth, when snowboarding was not allowed at most resorts. Bromley was one of the first mountains to allow snowboarding, and we are proud to have been a small part of the evolution of Jake’s universe that forever changed the world of snowsports. We encourage everyone to take a ride down the Plaza Park today in his honor. #rideonjake

Sat. March 14 - **Passholder Appreciation Day!** All Unlimited, Midweek, and Off-Peak Bromley passholders are invited to join us for early lift access at 7:30am and an apres party from 5-7pm. A special gift will be given away to the first 200 passholders\* at the party, so bring your pass and your appetite!

Uphill Travel is open daily from dawn to dusk. Please keep your pass visible, stick to designated routes, and stay alert around all mountain operations and equipment.

Please park in the main lot through the tunnel. There is no parking in the drop-off zone.

Safety is everyone's responsibility. Please ski/ride in control and within your ability.

Lift operations are always weather dependent, your safety is always our highest priority. Keep an eye on the snow report or our socials for any changes to our daily plan.
